If you’re a fan of Mexican food, you know that pico de gallo is often served with tacos and other Mexican dishes. Even though this recipe is great as it is right now, you can opt to add some lime juice for extra flavor.
- 1 tomato
- 1 onion
- 1 green onion
- ½ fresh jalapeno pepper
- 2 sprigs cilantro
- ½ tbsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tbsp. salt
- 1/8 tbsp. pepper
- Dice the tomato; chop the onion, green onion, jalapeno pepper, and cilantro.
- Place tomato, onion, green onion, jalapeno pepper, and cilantro in a medium bowl. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir the ingredients until they are equally distributed.
- Leave in the fridge for 30 minutes, then serve.
