Hawaiian Chicken Kabobs

You will not believe how these Hawaiian chicken kabobs will taste using just a few carefully selected ingredients and a very simple preparation. They are delicious, succulent and everything else you could wish for in a healthy meal.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sherry
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 8 boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks
  • Skewers

Preparation:

  1. Cut the chicken into two-inch pieces.
  2. Mix the sherry, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic power and ginger in a dish. Add pieces of chicken and drained pineapple slices until they are soaked in the marinade. Leave them to marinate for at least two hours.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high.
  4. Brush the grill grate with sesame oil. Slide chicken and pineapple onto skewers, alternating.
  5. Grill, turning occasionally, for 15 to 20 minutes.
