Sassy Water Recipe

Everyone knows that drinking lots of water is great for health. We have already written about how you can make water more enjoyable and healthy.
While Sassy water was introduced to the broad public as part of the Flat Belly Diet, benefits of drinking it undoubtedly go beyond simple weight loss (although it doesn’t hurt to lose couple of pounds in the process). The main ingredients are all well known antioxidants. They help improve digestion and rid the body of retained water and toxins.


  • 8 1/2 (2 liters) cupe of fresh water
  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1 medium cucumber, peeled and sliced thinly
  • 1 medium lemon, sliced thinly
  • 12 mint leaves


  1. Pour the water into a pitcher or large jug
  2. Add other ingredients
  3. Cover the pitcher and leave it in the fridge over night to inuse the flavors
  4. Drink the water the next day
